I work as a PhD candidate in the field of cognitive neuromaging, at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. In my PhD, I am developing new methodology for signal detection and causal inference in functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This methodology can be used to study cortical and whole-brain mechanisms underlying cognitive disabilities, such as ADHD or autism spectrum disorder.

In free time, I promote open science, through blogging (www.nataliabielczyk.com) and by organizing events. At the moment, I am organizing AoN Brainhack Warsaw event in Warsaw, Poland, 17th-19th November 2017: https://brainhackwarsaw.github.io/

In free time, I also take on entrepreneurial activities.  I recently launched Donderix initiative at my institute: www.donderix.com The purpose of this initiative is to promote sustainable science and to give researchers an opportunity to join commercial projects for industry, and to work in teams to solve real-world problems inindustry with use of blockchain technology and machine learning.
